Clinical Safety

Dermicus AB’s Medical Director is an NHS Digital accredited clinical safety officer.

Dermicus platform has achieved DCB0129: Clinical Risk Management: its Application in the Manufacture of Health IT Systems.

Dermicus AB’s compliance with DCB 0129 enables our customers to meet their obligations to clinical risk management in the deployment and use of Health IT Systems – DCB0160.

Dermicus has passed the NHSX DTAC assessment (reference Dermicus DTAC 000016) and with a published reference case in the NHSX Playbook

The Digital Technology Assessment Criteria for health and social care (DTAC) was launched by NHSX in February 2021 and is the national baseline criteria for digital health technologies in the NHS and social care.

All digital health technologies (including apps) that are being trialled, purchased, embedded into pathways, advocated to patients, built and bought should be subject to the DTAC and assessed prior to or at the point of commissioning.

NHS integrations

Patient data belongs to our customers and must be easily accessible and fully integrated into other digital solutions on the patient journey.

Dermicus integrates into PDS and NHS primary care systems using the NHS Digital pairing standard IM1. All dermatology patient data and pathways actions are fully integrated.

Dermicus can integrate into other systems such as secondary care EPRs and pathology. Our experienced integrations team use FHIR, HL7, JSON, XML and others, depending on the capability of the connected system.
