In the UK NHS, the Dermicus platform has achieved DCB0129: Clinical Risk Management: its Application in the Manufacture of Health IT Systems and CE-certified according to MD, Class 1 (D3.0-112015).

Also in the UK, NHS Digital clinical safety team have awarded Dermicus clinical authority to release (CATR) certificate

Healthcare compliant implementation

In the UK, Dermicus has passed the NHSX DTAC assessment (reference Dermicus DTAC 000016) and with a published reference case in the NHSX Playbook

The Digital Technology Assessment Criteria for health and social care (DTAC) was launched by NHSX in February 2021 and is the national baseline criteria for digital health technologies in the NHS and social care.

All digital health technologies (including apps) that are being trialled, purchased, embedded into pathways, advocated to patients, built and bought should be subject to the DTAC and assessed prior to or at the point of commissioning.
