For all companies it is of importance to continuously perform risk analyses in order to protect themselves against potential threats. In the area of information security, examples of such threats can be: cyber attacks, theft/loss of data and data breaches. The internationally recognized management system ISO27001 (also known as ISMS, Information Security Management System) is a solid and effective tool for organizations that want to perform structured work within the area of information security. In many cases, the certification is also a requirement for regulatory compliance (e.g. GDPR) or for the company to be competitive in its business operations, but above all, an ISO27001 certification is a receipt of the organization’s ability to maintain a high level of information security. The ISO27001 certification is renewed on an annual basis if the organization is able to meet the high requirements of the standard. At the end of August, Dermicus received its second ISO27001 certification (the first certification was approved in 2021).

This achievement demonstrates our determination to constantly maintain the highest possible level of information- and cybersecurity in order to
protect the sensitive information of our customers, partners and patients stored on our platforms.

“A big thank you to our incredible team and partners for their dedication to keeping Dermicus a trusted and secure platform!”, says Daniel Eliasson, CEO
